Your trust matters to us

Privacy Policy

Last updated:

Senior Home Pathways helps families find senior living that fits the people they love. To do that well, we ask you to share sensitive information, sometimes including details about a parent’s health. We take that responsibility seriously. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the choices you have.

The short version: Our guidance is free to families. We use what you share only to help match your parent with suitable communities and to communicate with you about your search. We never sell your information.

1Who we are

This policy applies to Senior Home Pathways (“we,” “us,” or “our”) and the information collected through our website and intake assessment. If you have questions about this policy or your information, contact us at [privacy@seniorhomepathways.com].

2Information we collect

When you use our assessment or contact us, you may choose to share:

  • Contact information — your name, email address, phone number, and your preferred way and time to be reached.
  • Information about your search — who you are searching for, what is prompting the search, your timeline, the type of community you are considering, the area you are looking in, what matters most to you, and whether you have contacted communities already.
  • Health and functional information about the person you are searching for — for example, fall history, mobility and use of mobility aids, driving status, help needed with daily activities, relevant medical conditions, and steadiness on their feet. You provide this voluntarily so that we can match more accurately.
  • Anything else you choose to tell us — including free-text notes and your responses during a consultation call.

You decide how much to share. Some fields are optional, and you can reach out to us directly instead of completing the assessment if you prefer.

3How we use your information

We use the information you share to:

  • Review your situation and identify senior living communities that are well-suited to your parent’s needs, particularly around mobility and fall risk.
  • Contact you about your search, including by your preferred method, to share recommendations and answer questions.
  • Provide the free consultation you request, when you request one.
  • Improve how we help families and operate our service.

We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

4How your information is shared

We never sell your information. We share it only in these limited ways:

  • Service providers who help us operate. We use trusted vendors to run our website and manage communications. These include HighLevel (our customer relationship and communication platform) and Google Cloud Platform (our hosting and data storage infrastructure). These providers process information on our behalf, under agreements that limit how they may use it.
  • Senior living communities, only with your involvement. We discuss and agree on next steps with you before connecting you with a community. We do not broadcast your information to a list of providers.
  • When required by law — for example, to comply with a legal obligation or to protect the safety of any person.

5Text message (SMS) consent

If you provide your phone number and select a text or call option, you consent to receive communications from Senior Home Pathways at that number regarding your senior living search, which may include calls and SMS text messages, including messages sent using automated technology. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of using our service or receiving recommendations.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We will not share your mobile information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

6How we protect your information

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information you share, including encryption in transit and storage on secured, access-controlled infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to those who need it to help you.

7How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to help with your search and for a reasonable period afterward, consistent with our legitimate business needs and legal obligations. You may ask us to delete your information, and we will honor that request where we are able to do so.

8Your choices and rights

  • Access and correction. You may ask what information we hold about you and request that we correct it.
  • Deletion. You may ask us to delete the information you have shared.
  • Opt out of communications. You may ask us to stop contacting you at any time, or reply STOP to text messages.

To make any of these requests, contact us at [privacy@seniorhomepathways.com]. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

9Children’s privacy

Our service is intended for adults making care decisions. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.

A note while we finalize: This policy is a working draft prepared to describe our current practices in plain language. The bracketed contact address and the “Last updated” date are placeholders to be confirmed, and this draft should be reviewed by a qualified professional before it is relied upon as final, particularly because our assessment may involve health-related information.
